Nowruz is the Persian New Year and marks the first day of spring, usually on March 21. It is a beautiful celebration of new beginnings, nature, and family traditions. At our daycare, we introduced children to Nowruz by explaining the meaning of the holiday and showing traditional symbols such as the Haft-Seen table. Teachers shared simple stories about spring and renewal, and children participated in colorful crafts inspired by flowers, nature, and Persian traditions. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate diversity and help children learn about different cultures and traditions.
